Abstract
Under specific political and economic conditions, the perception of architecture, interior design, and interior architecture in Vietnam remains inconsistent, causing significant obstacles in both professional practice and education. This paper analyzes the organic relationship between architecture and interior design, along with perspectives on the discipline of interior architecture. Furthermore, an analysis of the current state of architectural education in Vietnam, juxtaposed with the country's construction demands in the new era, reveals a shortage in the training of design professionals within the construction sector. The organization of interior spaces in a construction project plays a central role that largely determines the functional quality of the building. Accordingly, the demand for education in interior architecture is of utmost importance in the process of building a civilized and modern nation.
